Terms of service
Last updated 19 October 2026.
These terms are between you and MediSearch ("we", "us"), which operates MediSearch. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
What the service does
MediSearch writes a set of questions from your own website, asks them of AI search engines from the markets you serve, records the answers, and reports whether and how your business was named. It also suggests work to do about what it found.
What we report is what those engines answered at the time we asked. AI answers change between askings and between people. We measure and record; we do not control what any engine says about you, and we do not promise that anything you do will change it.
Your account
You need an account to use the service. You are responsible for what happens under it, and for the accuracy of the website and business details you give us. You must be authorised to act for the business you add.
The free trial
Signing up needs no payment card. A new account has 7 days to set up: we read its website and write its questions. Running the first scan asks for a card and starts 2 free months (60 days) on the plan you choose. Nothing is charged during them, and we email you a week before they end. A trial covers one website and five markets; you can add more from Plan and Usage.
When the 2 months end, the plan you chose is charged monthly unless you cancel before then, which you can do at any time from Plan and Usage. If you cancel, or never add a card, scanning stops and everything already scanned is kept.
Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe, monthly or yearly, at the price shown on the pricing page when you subscribe. We do not see or store your card number. You can cancel at any time in the billing portal; the plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for and is not prorated.
If we change the price, it applies from your next renewal and we will tell you before it does.
What you may not do
- Add a website you are not authorised to act for.
- Use the service to impersonate another business.
- Resell or redistribute the reports as your own product without agreeing that with us first.
- Attempt to take more of the service than your plan includes, or to reach another customer's data.
Your content, and what we do with it
The website details, questions and notes you put into MediSearch stay yours. You give us permission to use them to run the service for you: to generate questions, to ask them of AI engines, to store and display the answers, and to produce your reports. We do not sell them and we do not use one customer's data to advantage another.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running and we do not promise it always will be. Scans depend on services we do not control, and an engine being unavailable means a reading is missed rather than wrong. The service is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law does not let us exclude.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for business decisions made on the basis of what the service reports. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending it
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, or that is using the service in a way that risks other customers. If we end your account without cause we will refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters to you we will say so by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario.
